Setup Sage Intacct to work with TimeRewards

 

Setup steps

  • Enable Sage Intacct’s Web Services
  • Create a new Web Services User
  • Add Sage Credentials to TimeRewards

 

Enable Web Services

Web Services enables you to exchange information with external applications

  1. Go to Company > Admin > Subscriptions
    • Turn on Web Services
  2. Go to Company > Setup > Company
    • Switch to the Security tab, click edit, scroll down to Web Services authorization, and Add
    • Enter TimeRewardsMPP for the Sender ID and Web Sender ID for the Description
    • Click Save

Create Web User Account

  1. Go to Company > Admin > Web Services users
  2. Click Add to create a new user. We recommend the following settings:
    • User ID: timerewards
    • Last name: API
    • First name: TimeRewards
    • Email address: any (you will receive the pwd here)
    • Contact name: leave blank
    • User name: will auto-fill with timerewards
    • User type: Business
    • Admin privileges: Full

Next, you need to Add Sage credentials to TimeRewards

 

Add Sage Credentials to TimeRewards

You will need the following information

  • Company ID: [your company id from sage]
  • User ID: timerewards (or the user ID you created above)
  • Password: see the email you received after creating the new web services user
  1. Login to your TimeRewards Account
  2. Go to Setup | Apps
  3. Turn on Sage Integration and enter the Company ID, User ID, and Password.
